The flashes you are getting means that there is a problem in the lamp driver circuit. This is a circuit, that if you do not know much about, it is best to leave it to the pros. If you do understand digital circuits and repairs on printed circuit boards,most likely you will need to replace the lamp driver printed circuit board. Did this happen as a result of you or anyone opening up the lamp replacement door? If not and this all of a sudden went out, it is for sure the lamp driver board is defective.
