barryh, this TV set has a very common problem that happens one almost every tube type projection TV set ever made. The problem is that the convergence IC 's have gone bad or going bad and you need to replace or have the Both convergence ICs replaced. The entire convergence board is available HERE Just double check with Samsung on the part number, as all I could find was PCK5315R not the PCK5314R. You will most likely need the service manual to perform some convergence alighnments as well as the magic or perfect focus when you repalce these parts as well as if the board is replaced.
