My 2-yr old, playing around, screwed up my tv...now all I see is a black box that takes over 95% of the screen except when changing channels...but that's no way to watch tv!!! Tried searching for problem..seems it could be closed caption related (if I understand this website correctly)..but the menu doesn't have CC choices?!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks muchly.
Do you have the original remote/ Maybe there is a differant remote with the closed caption on it as your problem certainly does sound like the closed capation text is turned on. What is the model number of this set please?
