Sorry my friend, the model

Sorry my friend, the model number does not ring any bells and shows nothing in any country.  Are you sure this is the correct model number?  What is this a TV set, a stereo receiver?   And when you say had a blown output, what are you refuring to?  Please get back with us and give us a better description of what this is and what you replaced.

Sorry model number is

Sorry model number is PT47WXC43G that was the chassis number. The H.O.T was blown the part number was 2sc5612. I replaced it and set tries to come on but shuts down. Cannot find anything else shorted in chassis. This is a Projection TV. Thanks for the replies.  Steve

first thing to check is to

first thing to check is to see if there is any DC voltage on the collector of the horizontal output transistor. If you have none, the flyback could be open, or there is a resistor that opend because of the blown H.O.T. If you have voltage there, put the set of a variac or put a 200 watt lightbulb across the AC fuse and see if the set starts up. If it does, then there is a problem in the regulator circuit of the main power supply most likely. If it does not start up you will need a scope to see if there is the horizontal drive pulse going to the base of the H.O.T. If there is no horizontal drive then the set will not start up.
