i need help on our old mitusbishi colour tv model CT-37C1.. i only have channel from 2 - 14 but i can not get other cable channel beside that. i dont know how to scan so that we can get all the cable channel. please help me.

It's because the frequencies this days are hyperband and your set cano't go that high. the only solution is to get a cable box, or a vcr. or setelite box,and the tune in channel 3 or 4, and your set with your old mit.
The set is in broadcast or air mode. Switch the TV to cable mode and you should be able to get more channels. Silva is correct though, some of the newer channels will not be available on that old set. You should be able to see channels from 2-99 or so. The easiest way to confirm this is to down channel until channel 2. Down channel one more time and the next one it tries should be the upper limit of the current mode. Over the air or broadcast channels stop at 83. Cable goes higher. Dan
thanks for the reply guys! as of now i have vcr but i dont know how to hook it up, can you tell me how so i can get the cable channels. Also i dont know how to set it to broadcast mode.. hope to hear from you guys!
