i had our big screen for about 4 years now and the other day it started
looping from 77 all the way down to chanel 1 and then started all over again, and again and so on i could not stop it not even with the remote.
i do have cable tv and i unpluged all items vcr-dvd the cable box and unpluged the tv for 10 mins and then pluged the tv and cable back but
not the other items. and it started all over again 77 through 1 and over and
over again, so now iam stuck.
It sounds like the channel down switch is stuck. Try pressing each of the buttons on the front of the set one after the other with the unit unplugged. Leave it unplugger for about an hour and plug it in. See if this fixes the problem. If not, please post the model number and we'll try to provide more detailed options.
