No sound at first start up.

Hi everybody. I own a Toshiba 32 inch CRT tv. it is a coupla months shy of being a year old. the first start up of the day i get no sound and have to repeatably turn off and on the tv before the sound comes on. I have cable and have switched the boxs incase it was a recieving issue but seems to be the tv itself. Is there a sound card or part that needs to be replaced or can i fix this at all myself?
