In order to make a playlist, you need to use a music management software suite like iTunes, Windows Media Player, WinAmp, etc. What paricular suite do you use?
I HAVE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER VERSION 11. I WANT TO MAKE A PLAYLIST SO I CAN TRANSFER THEM ONTO A CD. I ALSO HAVE MUSIC THAT I HAD DOWNLOAD FROM THE INTERNET AND PUT ON MY MP3, BUT I WANT TO MAKE SPECIFIC SELECTIONS AND SPECIFIC SONGS ON A CD AND I TOLD THAT I HAVE TO MAKE A PLAYLIST FIRST.
Windows Media Player 11 kind of hides the playlist builder by default. In order to start builiding a list, click the small blue arrow on the upper right side (see pic below).
Once that's done, you'll see the playlist pane. Simply drag the digital music files from the list on the left (songs must be ripped in to your computer) into the pane on the right. After you're happy with your list, hit the save button at the bottom of the screen and give it a name. You can edit a playlist at any time.
Good luck, and let us know if you have follow up questions!
