I have a 2 year old Sony 23" flat screen LCD, and after a few minutes of being on it begins to switch from on to standby mode and back again, about every 10 seconds. Anyone ever hear of this? Could there be a tech bulliten or recall for this? Any chance its the external power supply brick??
The external power supply certainly could be bad. I have also seen a bad lamp circuit cause this problem. These sets have no user replaceable parts inside them and should only be repaired by a trained service tech. good Luck, and please let us know what was dione to correct your problem.
