I just bought a new plasma TV (42") and the first thing I did ws connect the PS2 for a game of GT4, The graphics seem to be really poor, what can I do to improve them? I used the red, yellow and white pin connectors into front of TV (AV4)

You  need component cables(the one with five plugs).  Also, before you change the cable, you'll need to change your PS2 setting in the console options. Change it to Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr for component. If you change cables before changing the setting, the screen will be all jumbled up when you turn it on. Good Luck, and let us know how you made out.

If you're in to GT4, the component cables are a great upgrade. Don't forget to check the GT4 setup options and switch the component output to 480p or 1080i, and to tell the game you have a widescreen TV. Should make a considerable difference on your GT4 video quality when running on a high-resolution fixed pixel display.

many thanks matt, can't wait to see the difference in quality. My son thinks I'm being picky and should just accept the way it is but he's 10 so what does he know? Can't wait to show him the improvement(smart arse)
