Magnavox FP4630

We are a property management company and we recently took possession of a Television.  It says Magnavox in front of set, and on back of set on label it reads Model Number FP4630 W104, with a serial number 3950 1248.  It says "Manufactured in September 1994".  It appears to be 38/39" wide and looks like a flat screen.  I went to the Magnavox website and could not find anything with this model number.  Can anyone out there tell me about this set?  What kind is it?  Is it worth anything?  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Does it work?  If it does not

Does it work?  If it does not, most likly the power or horizontal modules are bad.  A company called PTS corp, on line they are ptscorp.com, will have or will rebuild the boards for you.  You will have to call them up.  If the set works and looks good, you would be luck to sell it, as is, in my opinion, for 100 bucks or so.  If it's not working, maybe a local repair shop will give you a few bucks for it.  After all, the TV is12 years old, and I would not invest anything into a set this old.  Good Luck, and please keep us informed on what you do with the set.

I have a FP4630 which I

I have a FP4630 which I bought brand new in 1994. It works perfectly except that it has no green color. All other colors are working, but no green. Trying to find something on line to tell me how to fix it.

your problem is the green

your problem is the green tube or the green tube drive board. The best way to tell is to swap out the red or the blue board with the green drive board and if the green comes back on then there is a problem with the green CRT drive board. if it does not than the green picture tube is probably no good

I have a 46' Samsung/Akai big

I have a 46' Samsung/Akai big screen and the blue bulb has went out. Is this something I can fix myself or does a tech need to replace it and where can I purchase the bulb online if need be?

The guy I got it from said the tech told him it was the blue bulb. The TV works great except for the yellow tint where the color is off. I do not have a Magnavox it is a Samsung 46' big screen TV. I do not even know where to begin to find one. I was going to call a few repair shops here to see how much the bulb cost. I live in Columbus, OH so I am lost on where to look. Are their websites where I can find this? Iappreciate your feedback and help.
