yesterday i turned on my set everything was fine then i left the room and when i returned there was sound but no video does anybody know what my problem could be?
Generally when a set loses the video, but the sound is still there , there is most likly a vertical sweep falure that shuts off the video curcuit when it failks as not to damage the picture tubes with a bright white line across the picture tubes. Or you have a YC/video jungle IC problem. If you know how to read a schematic and solder , then get the service manual and start with the vertical cuircuit first. If you do not, then I highly suggest you find a servicer to assist you in this repair. Good Luck and pleas kjeep us all informed of your progress with the repair on this set.
