I attempted to install cable to a TV in our kitchen. I have cable in several other rooms of the house which I have installed myself. This time, however, although I have installed it, I cannot get cable stations on the TV. In fact it goes to channel 91 right away. I have tried two different cables, changing the cable to a connector to the cable box in the attic that I know functions for another room, setting the TV from the menu mode, and setting it for cable.
You cannot just set the menu mode to cable, you must also do a channel search on the set, then it should work fine. good Luck and please let us know how you made out.
