philips 96031 c102 60"projection help please!!!!!!!!

the green light on the front comes on and that is it        it will go out when tring to change channels and vol.     no noise        i took all out and local guy said nothing burnt put it all back in nothing just the green light on the front!!!  somebody said unplug and did that for a day Nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!  thanks alot for your time !!!
