Panasonic Tau HD 36" tube chirps at power up

My 4 year old CT-36HX42F decided to start making a couple of quick succession high pitched chirps at power up.  The red power on light comes on, the obviously overloaded main PS makes a few high pitched chirps and then shuts off.  The main board LED flashes 6 times, pauses and repeats until power is removed.  After reapplying wall juice, the main power supply mating call starts over again.

I bought the $20 service manual from Manuals Paradise online in PDF format.  No mention of main board LED flash decoding.  Interestingly enough the 32" model has the same manual as the 36" model.  I would imagine there would be some difference besides the $1100 36" tube....?

The Horizontal output trans appears to be shorted when tested out of the circuit.  I have not removed the Flyback trans from the circuit yet.  The windings appear to be the only shorts I can see with my VOM.   I need to order the the Q551 output trans ($25-35) and would like a warm fuzzy on the Flyback trans ($65) condition.   Be nice if I could order them together as opposed to installing Q551 and then have to order the Flyback and maybe another Q551.   Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated .

Thanks, jim
