Can anyone help me find a service manual for Philips 36h800 7592. My model 36pt71b129 is turning itself off, and know it won't turn on. When the power button is pressed, the red light on front flashes 6 flashes, pause, 6 flashes, pause, 6 flashes, pause until shutting off. Before having this problem, I had a situation where the t.v. would turn itself on periodically, and I'd have to unplug set to prevent this. I don't know if the problems are related. The service manual is available at http://www.samswebsite.com/ for about 24 to 25 bucks as a PDF download.. if you know how to work on solid state equipment, then this is certainly what you need to start out with. if you have NO electronics training or do not know how to solder, I would recomend that you seek out a trained servicer to assist you in this repair. if you do hav some electronic experience and what to send me a copy of the PDF, I will be more then happy to assist you in this repair, but cannot say it wil be worth the repair or even if I can assist you untill i have you check a few voltages. Remeber this service is avaialable to only those with a limited amout of electronic knowhow and have at least a multimeter and know how to use one..
