My toshiba tn50x81 doesn't turn on if it hasn't been off for atleast 2
hours. Otherwise it doesn't seem to have anyother problems. Is there a
thermal switch which is causing this to happen.
Most of the time when this happens to a toshiba set, it is the main regulator IC starting with STR up on a stand up heat sink, or there is a cold or bad solderconnection in the sweep supply or the horizontal drive circuit. if you have no solid state repair experience, please seek out the assistance of a trained tech as there is alot of high voltage inside these sets even when they are unplugged.
