1993 Zenith TV with a problem on screen. The picture is about 1/2 inch wide across screen, the top and bottom of screen is all black. Help Me

Sounds like the vertical

Sounds like the vertical section of this set is bad. Not to bad for a 13 year old set. If you really want to invest about a hundred or so into this set, then its your call. but I really think you got what you paid for so its time to put this set to rest. You going to end up fixing it and then something else happens to it. You could go to http://www.ptscorp.com click one technical assistance then click on enter model number then enter your complete model number and just for giggles, see how much the complete board cost for this set if its still available. let us know how you made out.. Good Luck

Thank you Mr. Larry. I suppose I'll set it beside the road and put a $20.00 sign on it and say it works so someone in the neighborhood I live in will steal it in the middle of the night, thinking they got something again. (2 bikes and an air compressor in 1 year) The TV was free from my sister anyway. p.s. do you know to rig a bike so if someone tries to steal it they will get electricuted? hahaha
