Panasonic TX-32LXD60

We recently bought the above TV with a DVD recorder/HDD (model DMR-EX75EB).

Everything seems to be going well, and I'm working my way round it using the traditional method (press a button and see what it can do).

Only issue I have is when I play a DVD, the letters "HDMI" show up in the top left hand corner of the screen.  I have been told that this can be removed, but unfortunately I was not around when the TV was installe!  There is nothing in the instruction manuals which aim to troubleshoot this, so was wondering if anyone out there has had a similar problem and actually knows what to do!

When you play a DVD try on

When you play a DVD try on the DVD remote to hit the Display button.  Or Hit the display button on the TV set. One of these should turn it off. If this doesent work I will research this deeper.  Good Luck

Thanks for responding so

Thanks for responding so quickly.  I did get a chance to test this out, but was confronted by a confusing range of choices i.e. a menu popped up.  I have been into the DVD setup, but am not sure which way to go.  The user manual doesn't seem to help much, so I will need to examine this more closely.
