hey all, 
tonight my lovely little girl run a magnetic toy over the front of my teac colour tv and now i have two green quarters with two red in oppisite cornners. how do i fix it or is the tube now stuffed?

No rusty, the screen or tube is not hosed. If the set is working correctly, the automatic deguassing circuit will demagnatise that blob of misfit color on your screen. If it does not disapear straight off unplug the tv for several hours like overnight and plug back in cold. it should make a differance and may need a repeat or two of this unplugging. Most likly when you turn on the set later this evening , it will be gone. Let us know how you made out Good Luck
thanks larry, it took two goes at it and it's gone. we did turn it off when it happened but only at the remote so i guess the deguassing only happens at complete power down. any way it's fixed, thank you for help.
