My proscan television has an intermittant problem in which the picture is squashed into the center of the tube horizontally after it warms up sometimes it pops open and the picture is good. Has anyone encountered this problem and any suggestions for a do it yourself fix.
It is a manufacture defect they refuse to aknowledge.Had it happen twice fixed for 150 each time was told it will only get worse.Repair man wouldent tell me how to self fix it.Rca is a pile of crap.They make there money on repairs.Best bet toss it and dont buy there cheap products again.RCA used to be a trusted name but is a joke today.
Ladys & gents i am amazed at all the problems with these tv sets at the time i purchase my PS36190 it was the best so called i still have it has to been used alot because its in a great room that we do not use alot holidays when my kids & familys are home just rolls top to bottom rca thompson has balled on us all with service centers repairs etc way back it shut down once or twice and problem had not returned so i have never had to service i may or may not find a service company in nj that still makes home repairs max 200.00 and then i will drag it out heavy as ____ and buy something none rca etc i guess i have gotten my moneys worth not like some others i read about on the internet
