I have a GE TV Model #13GP241 (chassis #TX826TB). The set will not turn on with the remote or the push button on the set.It was working fine the day before. What could be the problem? Thank you , Dave.
Check the outlet for power...circuit breaker off in house panal, outlet could be bad, check the TV plug and wire for damage!!! Use a lamp or something to check power at the outlet!!!
I have the same problem in the same chassis number. There is AC input to the chassis but there must be a relay that turns the set on and it is not working. I would like to have documentation that supports or denies this.

i CANNT GET TO BACK OF Tv to see model number. It is an older TV. Remote will not now change channals when used. Batteries were changed. any suggestions as to what I can do?

The power source is working and the wire is fine.
