I have a 2000 RCA P52921 projection screen television and recently the picture isnt showing for no apparent reason but sound works perfectly.. i tried hitting the menu button to adjust but notting it seems as if the projectors arent projecting .. please help ne one...
Did you make sure that all of your connections are secure on the TV? Often a cable can come loose.
I have a 6 year old RCA tv that suddenly lost sound on all but 5 channels. Some of those with sound are in Chinese and Spanish. I have a magnivox remote and no service manuals to troubleshoot from. The self help menus are erratic and I am not techy enough to work my way through them.Any help appreciated.
I would check to make sure that the SAP audio mode is not enabled. Most TVs offer three audio format choices: MAIN (also could be Stereo), Mono, and SAP. SAP is a special audio program that can be broadcast alongside the original audio often used to provide a second langauge to viewers. Make sure your TV is set to Stereo if you want the original TV sound.
I have an 8 yr. old 35 in. RCA that recently lost its picture. The sound is fine and the pix tube must be OK because I can see the menu to adjust everything, but still no video. Any thoughts?

Matt-editor and member since Dec of 'o4- I tried to unplug for three days but it didn't cure my problem. Thanks for the tip.
I have a toshiba t.v.whose remote recently quit on an intermittent basis then ,suddenly ,it quit altogether. I tried new batteries and steps to bring it back to life. Those tactics were not sucessful and i bought a new one from remotes. com which would not work though it was the same code. I bought a universal remote and attempted to program it. Even though the directions indicated it should be working the remote the t.v.will not change channels other than manually.
Is this a problem with the sensor within the t.v.? If so, what to do? Dale
