We have a Sharp ARM160 copier. As you can see we are getting a line at the top. http://www.photosource.com/sharp
This line started when we had gotten a paper jam. The line does get litter until we get another paper jam. There is no change in appearance when printing from the copier or computer.
So far we have changed the drum and the toner cartridge, and cleaned the class and mirrors.
We still have not solved the problem.
If anyone has seen this problem before and was able to solve the problem we sure would like to know.

This line could be from the (UFR) upper fuser roller. This is the roller toward the exit side of the machine. The paper passes through here, the toner is fused into the paper. Often times this is where the paper will jam. If you can see this area, and use cation this roller is very hot after use, you should be able to see the area of the roller that is worn out. Typically this is caused by what are called pick-off pawls that ride on the UFR. Not 100% sure how difficult this is to change on this model. Which side of this picture came out of the machine first the left side?
