Want to beta test some super secret DivX stuff?

I saw DivX posted looking for beta testers for "super-secret stuff" this week.
They are taking applications here.

What I have heard is that DivX is working on a connected hardware platform in their connected home devices category. The PC to TV stuff. Like the SlingCatcher, Apple TV, Xbox 360 along with a few other streaming devices.

iPhone will be available June 29

Are you going to get an IPhone?

Apple Inc.’s highly anticipated iPhone will be available June 29, according to TV commercials broadcast Sunday night and posted on the company’s Web site.

The combination cell phone, media player and wireless Web-surfing device will retail for $499 and $599, depending on configuration. It will be offered exclusively by AT&T Inc.’s wireless division, formerly known as Cingular.

Coffee Table Computer

There is a fundamental change occurring in the world of technology!
This video from Popular Mechanics shows a new type of computer. They say it could be available to the public soon as next year.

The idea is not that new, they have been working on this for a few years now. But it's getting closer and closer to becoming reality.

You will note that no key board is shown, but I am sure they must have some type of wireless keyboard connected.

If you could put this in you living room and have it also control your TV and audio system it would be pretty sweet!

Google Maps to your car's GPS Navigation System?

It looks like Google and their Maps program is getting a cool update.

They are testing out a service with BMW that allows you to send Google Maps info directly into your car's GPS In-Car navigation. They are promoting:
