Hello all and thanks for the time in helping me. I have a Sharp LCD model #LC-20sh21u that Im locked out of, I need to reset the parental control. I searched the forum and couldnt find the answer so Im hoping someone can assist me.
I have the manual and have already attempted the 0000 code which is supposed to reset it, it didnt work. I have the original Sharp remote which from what Ive read here is a requirement.
I've contacted Sharp and went through a few suggestions they had, finally the tech I spoke with got frustrated (he sounded like he was grasping at straws) and suggested I take it in for service. I'm all for supporting my local TV repair shop, unless of course its something I can fix myself with some help from Techlore!
Tv powers on and responds to all inputs from the remote, no channels found and I cant scan for them without the code.
