PS. TV was connected to Comcast cable box via RF cable and yellow, red, white component lines (Comcast out, TV in).   A two position switch on back of TV was on EXT AMP which utilized ext. speakers as well as TV speakers.  I now have switch in EXT. SPKR. position now which bypasses TV speakers and utilizes external wireless speakers only.  I'm hoping this will also bypass (previously posted) suspected tv tuner problem of which I would like to properly repair if possible.  So far so good, no color loss or static sound.  It remains to be seen and heard/HOPEFULLY NOT...
