did you try to re-seat the dm board with-out the cover on it?
sometimes it is hard to reseat the board with the cover on. reread the reinstalation instructions. it helps about 55% of the time.
Hi Bill,
I am having problems with my WS-55613. It will not turn on. The green light comes on for just a few seconds then it powers itself back off. We have tried unplugging and resetting to avail. Any advice?
first find the stk convergenc ic's then unsolder them from the convergenc3 board, make sure you do not bend or break any of the pins. see if the set turns on and starts up. turn off the set.then if it does. The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! The kit comes with original Sanyo STK ICÂ’S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made ICÂ’S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases,
I am also having this green light blinking issue on my ws-55613 model. It seems like I can start off by replacing the capacitors. Can anyone please share a manual or something with me so I know where the DM board is and how to pull it out? Thanks so so much!

You must also replace the 9 volt regulator. It's located just behind the standup "terminal panel" Very hard to spot but if you cool it and the set stays on longer, replace it. You can use any atandard 9 volt regulator even tho the one in the set is surface mount. John
Sorry Armando, this set does not have a blue bulb as you asked for it is the picture tube! just because one of the three tubes do not light up does not mean they are bad. you most likely have a bad connection on the driver board or the crt driver is bad.Good Luck!!

Can I just use the CRT board from the green one to test the Blue crt tube? or are the connection different?
The best advice I can tell you all is to go to tvrepairkits.com and order the blinking light kit for your model of set, the kit comes with the high temperature/ high frequency/long life 105 Celsius type capacitors (not those cheap Radio Shack caps) full easy to follow pictorial directions, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem, all kits are shipped out within 24 hours in most cases, 2 to 3 day Priority mail. GOOD LUCK!!!
Larry,
Will the blinking light repair kit fix the TV shutting down by itself? ITs very speratic it can go days withpout doing it then the next day 3 times and could take up to a couple of hour to turn back on. Its not the blinking light issue but rather it just shuts down. I turn it back on the green light comes on and 2 seconds later it goes out.
any help will be appricated. I've had repairman and they have contact Mitvubishiand they gave us a firmware upgrade but that didn't help.
it could be the caps inside the DM as there are many symptoms for this problem best way to tell would be to replace the caps first and if that did not work than go to http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?partner=larry, and get the convergence kit!!!
Larry
Thanks Larry,
One more question, if I get the blinking light and the convergance repair kits is this something that a TV tech can replace in my home? Also, how long would it take to replace both kits?
I have the WS 55613 and iI have the green light problem...but i get no picture or sound..will the DM module for cap replacement help me ??? And could you email it to me please...ty Bobby

Larry Dillon,
I have a Mitsubishi VS-6017R rear projection TV. I push the power button and hear a click and another click if I turn it off. No light thru any color tubes. Worked fine yesterday. Do I just need a new lamp if it is getting power? I assume the click means it is powered. Also checked the barrel fuses and none are blown. Please help. Email me @ [email protected]. thanks.
We had the blinking green light on a 2003 Mitsu 55613 and replaced the capacitors as you recommended about three years ago. The TV has worked fine until now. Now all we get is the blinking green light after we unplug it and plug it back in or if we push the reset, but the TV will not turn on. I replaced the capacitors again but no success with the TV working. Do you have other suggestions for DIYer. Thank you for the previous help.
I have a Mitsu ws 55613, about a year ago I got the dreaded GREEN BLINKING LIGHT but was able to fixe it by replacing the 4 cap on the DM card. It was working OK until a couple of days ago. I pulled out the DM board and the caps seem to be OK. Does anyone have any ideas on what it might be? Thanks in advance!!!!!!
I have a problem with my Mitsubishi WS-55613 ..It plays for a minute or 2 then clicks and it looks like the old tv's did when the horizontal hold went nuts..Is this hard to fix on this type of t.v. ? And where can I get the parts?? Does anyone else have the same problem ? I am about to junk this thing...it have had it 2 years and already spent $300 on it
