I have a Sharp DV-NC55 dvd, vcr combo and it has been working fine, but suddenly when I try to play a dvd, on screen appears "wrong disc type", and the disc ejects. I have changed the Pal to NTSC/PAL and both still do not play the disc.
Anyboby know why this has happened and how I can cet to seeing my dvd's again

First try to clen the lens by useing a lens cleaning disc. if that doesnt work try taking apart the unit. If you have no knowldege of how to do this then take the unit in to a pepair shop to see if its a cleaning it needs or something else is wrong. Also take a look at thisa article.
