Sony Clie PEG-SJ20

Hi Folks- The glass on my Clie cracked and now it doesn't respond to my stylus. Since it is password protected now I can't get passed the System Lockout screen. Unfortunately, it has also been a while since I synced. Does anyone know a way around the password? Or, a way to sync the data without going to HotSync on the handheld? I'm a bit freaked out and would love to find a way around this. Oh, since the Clie is discontinued I'd rather not spend a couple hundred dollars getting the screen replaced but would rather put that money toward a new PDA. Anybody have any great ideas?
