I purchashed a 32" Sony flatscreen WEGA from Circuit City. It is a nice unit except for a nagging problem. When there are black or darked colored scenes you can see thin red horizontal lines across the TV. They go from top to bottom and span the width of the screen. It is really quite distracting! Has anyone seen or heard of this problem? Any advice would be great!

If it's new, why not have them exchange the TV?
If that's not possible, can you post a picture of your problem?
Matt, I bought it in May 2005. It was a birthday preseent for my girfriend, who's birthday was in August. The exchange period lapsed. I will take a picture of the problem and post it.

It's always a bummer when the exchange period is over, but you have a problem with a purchase. I'll be more than happy to look at that screenshot when you post it.
At least look on the bright side. No matter what the problem, you're still under factory warranty. And with Sony, home service is included on 32" TVs. :-)
