My Sony TV model KV27TS32 shut down the other day. The red power-on light at the front of the unit is not lit.Normally with the TV pluged into the wall this light is on regardless if the TV is in the operating mode or not.I removed the case and checked a fuse that was next to the incoming power cord and found it to be ok. This TV was new in 1993 and may need to be put to rest. Any ideas out there??
It could be a million different things. Given that parts availablility will be limited on a 12 year old TV, it's time to say goodbye and pick up a new TV.
