Hitachi CT3180B TV recently started scrolling through channels. Cannot maintain any single channel for more than a few minutes. TV is connected to Cable. Cable company says its a TV problem. Recently tried to program the TV channels into an Onkyo universal remote from the TV remote; it didn't work. How do I stop the channels from scrolling?
maybe it has something to do with your tv's "surf" feature...check to see if it's set at 00.00.

I have a Curtis Mathis TV. Just had satallite hooked up recently and it worked fine. All at once it started scrolling through the channels. It goes to channel 3 and stops for a second and then it starts again. The satallite people says it's the tv. Can you help me?
