HP tx2000 Tablet PC Review

I give the Hp tx2000 5 stars out of 5 and here's why:

The Hp tx2000 has a great inking pen, and pen experience (yes, you can write directly on the screen).  Go to www.gottabemobile.com to check out a video on inking on the Hp tx2000.

The Hp tx2000 is fast; my specs are as follows:

- Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
- AMD Turion(TM) 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 (2.0 GHz)
- 12.1" diagonal WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen (1280 x 800) w/Integrated Touch-screen
- 3GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
- NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 6150
- HP Imprint Finish (Echo) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
- Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth
- 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
- LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support

The price is great. My Hp tx2000 was only $1000, and that was with a lot of stuff (software, webcam, fingerprint reader, etc.).

Vista is good; no problems with the 64-bit version. Get the 64-bit because it can utilize memory (RAM) higher than 2GB (unlike 32-bit).

Battery is good - about 4 to 5 hours with the 8 cell battery which sticks out the back a little. No big problem.
