my wife was watching the tv and all of a sudden it just turned off - now all it does when you turn it on it shuts right back off in about 5 sec. I had a tech come out and he trouble shooted by unpluging a board that had the convergence chips on it when he did that the tv stayed power on but no picture, he recommend replacement of chips and possible transistors and check the joints,
question is do you know where i can get parts and is it possible for me to repair myself or could I just take the board in somewhere to have it repaired, they had no charge for the service call and the estimate was verbal, I have called them and requested a written estimate by email but they have not responded, it has been a month.
