Hi
I have connected a sony cybershot docking station CSS-HD1 with a T-200 camera to a Sharp LCD LC-37GA8E using the RGB component cable from the docking station connected to the tv using the '3 RCA to 15 pin D-sub adapter' supplied with the tv. Once connected, I turn everything on and select the right input on the tv but the screen shows a message saying 'Out of Range'.
Any ideas how I can get this to work?
Thanks
Hi Tony UK,
A couple thoughts:
1. RGB and component video signals aren't directly interchangeable. If your TV came with an adapter, there may be a setting in the TV to switch between the two signal types.
2. Your dock may be outputting a format not compatible with the TV. Example: your TV can't handle 720p and that's what the dock is putting out.
Give those a look and post back.
Hi
Many thanks - managed to find the right input setting on the TV - camera was outputing at 1080i but tv not realising.
Cheers
Tony
