I bought a HD plasma tv recently and have cable with HD service. Everything was fine until recently when my tv picture would radomonly get pixely and lose audio. This would happen for several seconds then get back to normal and then it would start up again. It got impossible to watch so I called the cable company who said it was probably a weak signal on their end. They came out and said the signal was, in fact, fine but they replaced my HD box as a precaution. All was fine for about 3 weeks and now it's started up again. The box is in a ventilated area and isn't hot to the touch, which they said could be a problem if that happened. DVD's play fine, it's just when I'm using cable.
Are there settings that I can adjust or something I can do other than call the cable company back? They really didn't seem like they had any idea what could be causing this.
My tv is a 42" Insignia.
