I have this problem with my home theater system, when I set it to play a dvd the main menu and everything else is black and white and the screen keeps jumping up and down.. or maybe its just going down and comming from the top again...I dont know what to do I have read the manual and it does not help.
I know for sure that I have connected everything correctly.
I have another dvd player and everytime I set it to PAL mode it does the same thing, but works fine with NTSC.. I cant seem to find an option that switches the modes either.
This happened when something was pressed on the remote, not sure what?
It is a DVD/VCR Home Theater SD-V55HT
There is a manual online if you google SD-V55HT looks some what the same as what I have (If needed).
