thank you very much Mr. Whitlock you were very helpful indeed i found out at the website you suggested exactly what was wrong I feel a little silly but the register just needed paper i didnt even think to check I had gotten so flustered because it had locked up in the middle of a shift and now I know to what to check when it happens again .
