Palm Zire 71

I have a "PALM PILOT" Zire 71 and I love it!, but then it stopped working. It now turns on with the set-up screen but I can't get past that because the stylus won't work on the screen. I tried using my finger on the screen too but that doesn't work either. :( Has anyone else had this problem? , or can anyone help me?
