My Clie will not see the 128m stick, it is the proper Magic Gate chip, formated on the PC with an official Sony formating program, but all I get from the PDA is card inserted but no read, unable to format or access or use? I am stuck, can't return, bought 2 new sticks...

Can you be more specific about the exact make and model of the memory sticks you purchased? It will help in trying to figure out what's happening.
Sure, they are Official Sony 128mb Standard MagicGate memory sticks MSH-128 (Blue, about 5cm long)I receive a beep during insertion and removal as possibly it should, but useless after that.
