installed a infinity basslink in my 03 f-150 and all went well. turned it on and system sounded amazing. come out next day and i get nothing from the amp no led, sound or anything. how could i have short in the amp when system was off. checked remote line on head unit and i have full voltage when i dis-connect the amp, nothing when i re-connect it. system going to ground obviously but i don't know how to remedy my situation... open for suggestions
Simple suggestions first I guess... Have you checked the fuse in the amp, and probably the one on the main power line to the battery?
finally found the problem to be a pinched power line from the head unit to the amp. all is well and i'm grinning from ear to ear again.
