I hope someone can help me. I am having a major issue here with my Web Cam. its a GE Mini Cam Pro 98067. First problem I had was the built in Mic wasn't working, but I was able to solve that issue but now the camera doesn't work at all. It won't capture any video or pictures. I have made sure that all my drivers are up to date. all the software has been installed. can't figure out what to do. I've even tried uninstalling the camera and all the drivers and reinstalling it but with no luck. All I get is a message stating the following: "Can not connect to video capture device"
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, as the camera was working fine this morning, just no sound recording.. now it'll record sound but no video.

The company that handles GE Webcams is called Jasco. Their technical support number is: 800.654.8483, option 4, be prepared to hold. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (CST). DonÂ’t waste your time telling them it doesnÂ’t work. They donÂ’t want to hear it. They insisted that I was my laptop and not the driver. I explained that I used the driver downloaded from their website and it didnÂ’t work. I was told that there was no difference in the driver disc they would send meÂ… I persisted. Guess what? When the disc arrived, I loaded it into the laptop. Installed the driver once again. Went to START, right clicked on MY COMPUTER, went to PROPERTIES, then HARDWARE, then DEVICE MANAGER. In the list you will see a YELLOW QUESTION MARK next to the USB camera. Right click it and UPDATE DRIVER, run the HARDWARE SETUP WIZARD and all of the sudden by some incredible miracle the webcam will start working. IÂ’m sure it has nothing to do with the disc, IÂ’m sure it was because the stars were perfectly aligned paired with the incense I was burning while I chanted incoherently. Whatever the case may be, get the disc and get cam-ing!
Having a simpilar problem. My cam was working fine and then it just stopped. I lost my cd and all that jazz. I went onto that website and downloaded the driver, it says complete but when i go to plug my camera in the usb slot it doesnt do anything. Usually at the bottom corner it would say FOUND NEW HARDWARE. But this time it does nothing. And when I go to click on The AM CAM link it says Sorry, you have no video camera capture hardware. Im completely confused. HELP?
mine is acting weird too. As soon as I installed the software i turned off my computer so it could finish downloading quicker but when i turned my computer back on it wont turn on at all. HELP if you can. but i got that to work.........Now it is the mic that is not working!!!!!!! how did you fix the mic.. send me at [email protected]

Have new Mini Pro ... picture goes live it all works but the microphone! Any suggestions. We can hear our friends but they can't hear us?
I would recommend uninstalling the drivers you have and reinstalling the ones at this website...

How can I set up my ge minicam pro model no. 98067 to my hp laptop without the disc. It used to work but now for some reason it doesn't. I need help please!
