Sony KV-36HS20 "5 blink error"

Hi,Newbie here.  Anyway I thought I would post my current television problem.  I have a Sony Trnitron 36" flat screen direct view television.Problem:  While watching shows at some point the tv will shut itself off and not come back on.clue 1:  I get 5 red blinks when this happens.clue 2: The tv will stay on all day when there is no video input, but once video input is connected problem then starts to occur.Solutions: I checked around on the internet as to what the possible 5 red blinks mean and from what I gather my focus is on the "A" board.  Once I get the problem resolved I'll let everyone know in case you or someone else has a similiar problem and has this model Sony.
