convergence resistors and their awesome powers?

Im repairing a mitsubishi ws-65819 and Im wondering if convergence resistors are really any different than regular ones (mine are 3.9 ohms and they're all measuring 2.4). If they really are special, can I buy them from digikey, mouser, or allied?
