Greetings! I'm working on fixing a JVC AV-56WP74 (again), and I'd like some ideas as to what would cause this.
The display suddenly changed a few days ago. It is dimmer (now about 75% as bright as normal), and it has a yellowish-greening tint.
The tint control has no effect on the image, but the other controls do. The image is clear and sharp - all colors line up correctly when I try to adjust the convergence.
This does not seem to be a failure in the convergence circuits - does it? Could this be related to the STK394-150 convergence chips I replaced 2 years ago?
I appreciate any guidance as to where I can look!
