Does anyone have a WS-55907 service and training manual? I have had this TV for 8 years and this is the second video problem. 3 years ago the controller board for the blue lamp went out and it was repaired under warranty.
Now, I think I have a luminance problem. TV was fine, we turned it off for dinner, came back and the video was very dark. Red blue and green colors are visible but entire display is overall dark. This is while using the Hi-Res input jacks (component video and DTV-hi def video jacks - RGB/YPrPb).
The antenna coax input and S-video/composite video jacks work fine. That is our current work around.
I removed the signals board and did not see any obvious bad components. There was a screw that was sitting loose on the signal board, dont know if that caused problems or not. I vaccumed all dust and cobwebs, reassembled. There are three 'daughter' boards that plug onto signal board, dont know if my problem is in those or main signal board.
Any help is much appreciated.
