We were gifted with a lovely older mitsubishi VS-55705 that worked where it originally sat but in the move to our place next door, something happened and now it doesn't do much - no picture no matter what is hooked up where (followed manual as to hooking up dvd or cable with no luck) The screen is most of the time just blank altho it will occasionally flicker from white (in lines or small strips) back to basic grey. No sound, just a slight hiss. I'm sure the idiots that moved it for me bumped it and something is loose or broken but as I have no experience with this tv, I have no idea where to start troubleshooting (if it's even possible?) or whether it's worth it to try and repair.
Any advice would be so greatly appreciated - was so excited to recieve it and now it's just a huge hulking black thing in the middle of the living room :-( !!!!
