My friend just gave me a big screen tv that she bought within the past 5 years. She gave it to me because she said that there is something wrong with it but she didn't know what. After using it for a period of time it just shuts off and you have to keep it off for a while. I think it may be over heating and that's what's wrong but I don't really know. Does anyone know how to fix that or at least figure out what's wrong with it? Also, the picture is pretty snowy. Our old tv wasn't like that so I don't think it's the signal. One of my friends said it was because this tv is HD and that's how HD tvs are when there is just a regular picture on them. If someone could help out with these problems that would be greatly appreciated.
