Tv shuts off after 3 seconds

Lighting caused a signal surge on cable causing picture to be distorted at sides and than shut off.  when turned on it  shuts off after about 3 seconds.  Also cause speaker phone to remain on , wont shut off.  Is tv, a 2year old Citizen 20" flate screen worth fixing? What is likely the problem?
